	6.22.09 Hibernia Atlantic is proud to report that the new direct fibre-optic telecommunications cable between Ireland and North America has come ashore in Portrush, Northern Ireland.  As part of Project Kelvin, this build will connect Hibernia Atlantic's transAtlantic cable to a terrestrial cable ring to 13 cities. 	6.2.09 Hibernia Atlantic is proud to report that the Project Kelvin cable deployment is well underway. The new cable will directly connect Northern Ireland to North America.  As part of DETI and DCENR, the Project Kelvin build will connect Hibernia's transAtlantic cable to a terrestrial fibre optic cable ring to 13 cities. This build will provide additional and much needed capacity to this region to further support local and global commerce. For more information, read the press release. 	1.6.09 Hibernia Atlantic Announces its New Submarine Cable Network Build for the Department of Enterprise, Trade & Investment (DETI) for Northern Ireland and the the Department of Communications, Energy & Natural Resources (DCENR) for Ireland. This new direct connection to North America and Europe offers a wealth of capacity and security for the island of Ireland. For more information, read the official press release. 	9.8.08 Hibernia Atlantic hosted the TransAtlantic 150 event at the New York Historical Society in New York City to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the 1858 cable that crossed the Atlantic Ocean from Trinity Bay, Newfoundland to Valentia Island, Irelend. Click here to view the photo slideshow.
	12.5.07 Hibernia Atlantic held a Team Building day this December near Dublin. The entire Hibernia staff from all across the globe, gathered together and drove tanks, hovercrafts and land rovers over the marsh terrain. Click here to view the photo slideshow.

	9.12.07 Hibernia Atlantic and Industria host the Icelandic Prime Minister in Dublin. This visit comes on the heels of Hibernia's plans to build a new submarine fiber optic cable connecting Iceland to North America and Europe. Click here to view the photo slideshow.
	6.13.07 Hibernia Atlantic sponsored the telx Customer Business Exchange in downtown New York City. This annual event is an invite-only networking gathering for all telx customers and partners.
