The Rover:
Take a tour of Global Marine's submarine Rover, on board the Global Marine flagship, the Cable Innovator. The rover is used to track the Hibernia Atlantic secure TransAtlantic cable and monitors and repairs the signal.

Cable Dropping:
On the stern the Global Marine's flagship the Cable Innovator, watch Captain Gibson as he demonstrates how cable is tested dropped and picked up into the sea. Global Marine manages the wet maintenance process for the secure and diverse Hibernia Atlantic cable.

 

Cable Molding & Reinstating:
Follow the crew of the Global Marine's flagship, the Cable Innovator, as they wrap the newly-joined fiber optic cable into molding, to ready the cable for reinstating and deployment. This careful process ensures the security of the fiberoptic submarine cable.

Hibernia Atlantic's partner, Global Marine, gives us a rare glimpse at one of the largest cable tanks in existence, on board the Cable Innovator. The fiber is literally stacked in these tanks, shipped out, and then carefully tested and deployed.
